Would You Rather…

Yay – we’re so excited to share our first post!

We want to start with something fun and easy to get us going. Would You Rather is a great game to play with friends and family.

We’ve come up with some questions and will share our answers with you. Read along and get to know us!

1. CHIPS or POPCORN
   • Caseigh – Chips, like Miss Vickies original flavour or all dressed. I love popcorn, but I don’t like the hard kernel bits that get stuck in my teeth.
   • Sandra – Honey Dijon Kettle Chips
2. FARMER’S MARKET or CRAFT FAIRS
   • Caseigh – Farmers’ Markets, because it’s winter now, and I’m craving fresh fruit.
   • Sandra – Craft Fairs, because I love beautiful things made by hand.
3. KNITTING or SEWING
   • Caseigh – Sewing, because it’s quicker and less repetitive.
   • Sandra – Knitting, because I can watch a movie and knit at the same time and because I love how little stitches, added one by one, can grow a warm and cozy kind of magic.
4. SUNRISE or SUNSET
   • Caseigh – The feel of a sunrise and the look of a sunset.
   • Sandra – Yes! And I’ll add, a sunrise on my own and a sunset with loved ones.
5. BUNGEE JUMPING or ROCK CLIMBING
   • Caseigh – Rock climbing just sounds like a lot of scrapes and blisters, so I would choose bungee jumping as long as I don’t get whiplash.
   • Sandra – Rock Climbing, because it’s cooler to scale heights than to fall off of them.
6. ROLLER COASTER or WATER SLIDE
   • Caseigh – Water slide, because it’s fun to get wet, and there’s so many different types of slides.
   • Sandra – Roller coasters, because that moment when you are at the very cusp is both terrifying and euphoric.
7. SCONES or CROISSANTS
   • Caseigh – Probably croissants. I like how they can have a flaky crust, but can at the same time be soft, light, and buttery on the inside.
   • Sandra – Scones if they are light, only slightly sweet, and hold together nicely.
8. JEANS or LEGGINGS
   • Caseigh – I like the look of jeans better, but leggings are way more comfortable.
   • Sandra – Yup, what she said.
9. HOT CHOCOLATE or CHOCOLATE MILK
   • Caseigh – Hot chocolate warms you up, has marshmallows, and is more chocolatey than chocolate milk.
   • Sandra – Hot chocolate, as Caseigh says, “… is more chocolatey!”
10. KNITTED SWEATERS or HOODIES
    • Caseigh – Hoodies, because they’re less likely to be scratchy, and hoods are awesome.
    • Sandra – Knitted sweaters, because as above, they have a warm, cozy kind of magic.
11. HIKING or BIKING
    • Caseigh – Hiking, because I can take my time more.
    • Sandra – I don’t own a bike, but I think biking has more poetry to it. That being said, I love a good hike.
12. SCUBA DIVING or SAFARI
    • Caseigh – Safari, because I’d rather be eaten by a lion than a shark.
    • Sandra – Scuba Diving, because the idea of surrendering one’s body to an underwater world is beautiful.
13. TOASTED MARSHMALLOW or S’MORES
    • Caseigh – I like a plain, gooey marshmallow with a perfectly toasted shell.
    • Sandra – S’mores, again because it’s “more chocolatey!”
14. WATER BALLOON FIGHT or PILLOW FIGHT
    • Caseigh – In a water balloon fight, everyone has a fair chance at hitting someone else so you know that at some point in the game you’re going to get wet. But pillow fights can be painful and kind of agressive.
    • Sandra – Water balloon fight, because some of those foam pillows are actually pretty dense.
15. LIBRARY or BOOKSTORE
    • Caseigh – You can stay as long as you like in a library, but I do like the feeling of buying and owning a really good book.
    • Sandra – Library, because there’s more books, and you don’t get kicked out for reading the ones on the shelves.
16. BOATHOUSE or TREEHOUSE
    • Caseigh – A treehouse is like a secret fort in the air. My dream treehouse has a tire swing, a ladder, ziplines, and a skylight in the roof to see the stars at night.
    • Sandra – Treehouse, because they suggest childhood, adventure, and Lothlorien.
17. DRAGONFLIES or BUTTERFLIES
    • Caseigh – I like the zipping sound dragonflies make, and their colourful, metallic-looking bodies.
    • Sandra – Butterflies, because they are more colourful.
18. SUMMER BBQ or THANKSGIVING DINNER
    • Caseigh – Thanksgiving dinner, because my grandma makes sticky rice to go with the turkey. We all love it, and even though she makes a big pot, there’s never enough.
    • Sandra – Summer BBQ, because you can eat together, then go throw a frisbee for a while and then eat some more.
19. MOUNTAIN or BEACH
    • Caseigh – I like a mountain overlooking the beach.
    • Sandra – Well, one of the best things about living in Vancouver is that I don’t have to choose. But I’ll take a beach off the west coast of Vancouver Island in a heartbeat.
20. BASEBALL CAP or TOQUE (Beanie for non-Canadians)
    • Caseigh – Baseball cap. Toques make me look like an acorn.
    • Sandra – And now I can never look a toque the same way.
